Conair is committed to achieving zero accidents and incidents throughout the organization.  Our goal is to improve safety though proactive management rather that reactive compliance with regulatory and rule based requirements.

Conair’s safety management system “Target Zero” is a systematic, comprehensive and pro-active process and culture for identifying and managing safety risk.

Success of the safety management program is built on proactive management of risk by focusing on these cornerstones;

• Hiring the right people for the job
• In depth safety orientation for new employees.
• Initial and recurrent training on Conair’s safety principals above and beyond what is required by Transport Canada.
• Management’s operational control.
• Open two-way communication and informal discussion gives employees a sense of ownership in the program.
